Disablilty Network Christmas Party!

We recently went to the Disability Network Christmas party! It's a yearly tradition that we love to attend. Here are a few photos from that night!

Country View Christmas Party!

Our annual Christmas party was a great success again this year! The activity room was decorated into a winter wonderland. There was blue and silver snowflakes everywhere and lights filled the room at match. Julian and Sue did a great job as host and co-host! The food was catered in by Elegant Catering in Swartz Creek and it was delicious! There was a wide variety of things from ham to lasagna and many yummy desserts! We also had entertainment bu Marcia and Arlene, they sang the night away and had everyone participating which brought on many smiles. Last but not least, Santa stopped by and handed out gifts to the residents and family! It was a very Merry Christmas at Country View!

Charlie Brown Thanksgiving!

Today we watched A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving! It's a classic no matter what age! The holidays are approaching fast!

Aprons!

Today we made new aprons in arts & crafts! We've had the same painting aprons for quite some time now and they are filled with paint so we decided to make some new ones! They turned out really cute, everyone was very creative!

Happy Halloween From Ceramics!

Happy Halloween! Today we went to ceramics class and had a Halloween party! It was fun to dress up again and eat some treats while painting!

Halloween Party!

A spooky time was had at Country View's Halloween party!! The theme was skeletons and witches. The activity room was the witches lair and skeletons were lurking around every corner. Everyone had great costumes, it was fun to see what everyone came up with! The food was outstanding, thanks to all that brought a dish! We had a pumpkin contest, a guess the M&M's in the jar contest, pumpkin decorating, a costume contest and a special event - Halloween Fear Factor!! This even included real chocolate covered insects just like the TV show! It was funny to watch, great job to Feleicia, Bill and Curtis for being good sports AND for eating the insects! We'd also like to thank the costume contest judges, Carol, Dimetria and Theo! Hope to see you next year.... if you dare!!
