BBQ & Blues Throwdown!

We went to the new BBQ & Blues Throwndown Festival at the Genesee County Fairgrounds on Friday night! The food was delicious and the music was great!

We bought a teatherball set and the residents love it! Our maintenance man Bill set it up and Randy tested it out right away. It's going to be a great activity to add to the list! It can be played inside or outside so it's great for all seasons.

Homemade "Stained Glass" Butterflies

Today we made homemade "stained glass" butterflies for the windows. They are made using tissue paper! It was a fun craft and they look really pretty in the resident's windows!

Rummage/Bake Sale 2011!

The Rummage/Bake sale was a huge success! The weather was perfect, so perfect that we were loading up on the sunscreen! We had a new screen tent this year that held the baked goods which consisted of cookies, brownies, cupcakes, pies and much more! Our grand total was $331.59! All the proceeds will go to an outing of choice! Thanks to all that helped out!
