Boss's Day!

Happy Boss's Day to our wonderful bosses!! We all pitched in and got Damon and Carol a basket full of goodies! It was cleaning day in the office also but we made sure to make them a homemade lunch and show them how special they are to us!

Mexican Night!

We had another theme dinner night on Friday! We had Mexican. one of the resident's favorite! We had Mexican music playing, battery operated candles lit and yummy food - even had dessert and a after mint!

Today we made a new photo quilt for the wall in the activity room. We keep it full with pictures throughout the year! We always like looking through our photos!

Karaoke!

We decided to have an impromptu Karaoke session today on our new Karaoke machine! We were singing hits from the 60's, 80's and even threw in a little Katy Perry from now! A lot of the residents love music and know every word so they really do enjoy Karaoke days!

BIA Conference!

Today was the Brain Injury Association Conference in Lansing. We saw many informative booths and received many treats along the way! Everyone really enjoys their yearly outing to the BIA, great job to everyone involved! See you next year!

Dessert time!

Today we made a recipe called "Healthified Raspberry Cheesecake Coffee Cake" using the raspberries from our raspberry patches. It will be featured in our October Newsletter, check it out! It turned out really good, we strongly suggest it!

Zoo!

We went to the Wilderness Trails Zoo in Birch Run and enjoyed the nice days by seeing all the neat animals! It's hard to believe there are so many exotic animals in Birch Run!

Go Blue!!

Go blue!! Randy is the biggest U of M fan here at Country View so every year we get him tickets to the big house to see a game! They played against Air Force and won 31-25! It was a gorgeous day outside and a great day for a fall game! Randy had a great time!

Everyone got a sneak peek today at the blow up Halloween cat we are using for the Halloween party! It is huge and we loved it! Bill the maintenance man owns it and is letting us use it for the party. We can't wait!! Be sure to bring your cameras to the party!
