Happy St. Patty's Day!

Today is just one big party at Country View... We started the day with Karaoke, dressed up Irish style with some fun accesories, had hot corned beef sandwiches for lunch and there's more fun tonight! Have a safe and happy St. Patty's Day!

Caribbean Luau Party!

It was a tropical land under the sea theme at our annual Caribbean Luau Party! We had delicious food, dessert, lemonade and best of all, friends and family! Pat Cronley's Music Service Group provided an exciting evening of entertainment with many popular songs! Everyone had a blast singing and dancing! The kids had a lot of fun playing games like fishing for ducks, doing the limbo and other games for prizes. Thank you to everyone the helped out and we hope to see you all next year for more Caribbean fun!

Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day! Today the residents received their boxes full of goodies that everyone has been adding throughout the week. They were jammed packed! It was a nice treat to read all of the cards and enjoy the candy!

Appreciation Dinners!

Every February we have an appreciation dinner for the employees at Country View. This year they picked Outback Steakhouse. Everyone enjoyed a great dinner, received award certificates and was even given a rose. It was a great time! We appreciated everyone at Country View, they do a great job!

Valentine Day Boxes!

We made our Valentine boxes today. Every year the residents make a box for Valentine's Day. The boxes stay set up in the activity room for about a week until Valentine's Day. We fill them with cards and goodies and they get to open them on Valentine's Day!

Fudge!

Today we went bowling at Colonial Lanes! Everyone did really great, what a great sport for winter!

Crafts!

We made penguins for crafts on Friday. They have a thermometer on them so we can keep track of how cold it is outside! We tested them out outside and it was 20 degrees out, burrrrrr!!

We made a gingerbread house today! It was really fun to decorate, but of course the best part was taking it down and eating it! :)
