Today we made pumpkin faces made from orange plates. They will be hanging up at the Halloween party, check them out!

The raspberries are about to go away so Marion went out to pick a bowl to have with lunch. They were delicious and it was an awesome day out!

Michigan Football!

Randy is our #1 Michigan football fan here at Country View. On Saturday, September 25th he went to the Michigan/Bowling Green game at the Big House! Michigan won - 65-21! He had a great time rooting for his team!

Friday night lights!

We went to a Flushing football game on Friday to support the home team. We lost by a few points but it was still exciting and a perfect night for football!

Leaf Friends!

Today we made a "little leaf friend" in Arts & Crafts. It's that time of year! Everyone put their names on them and we hung them in the activity room.

Sun Art!

Today in Art & Crafts we made some sun art! We used Nature Print paper, laid various objects down and let the sun do it's magic! Everyone has their own special artwork for their rooms now!

Concert!

The resident's used this year's proceeds from the Rummage/Bake Sale towards an outing of choice. They chose to go to a Craig Morgan concert on the Genessee County Fair grounds. Whitey Morgan and the '78's also opened for him. Everyone got to choose their own snack and a drink and had a great time! Thanks again to all that helped out at the sale!

Summerfest 2010!

The weather was perfect this year for the Summerfest! We had a BBQ consisting of chicken, hamburgers and hot dogs along with a variety of delicious side dishes! The "Spencer Group" also provided music on the lawn for us to enjoy. A big thanks to Ron Krueger and the BIA, Flint Chapter, Curtis Lanxton, Laura Ruggles and the staff at Country View for all the help to make this another Summerfest to remember!

Bay City Pig Gig Trip!

This year the residents went to the Bay City Pig Gig for their summer trip! They stayed in Bay City for 2 nights at the Double Tree Hotel in Bay City. They did a lot of things in those 3 days! They went to the museum where they saw a lot of interesting artifacts, went out to eat at a few favorites like Big Boy, saw a concert and of course, the Pig Gig! It was a really great time - wonder where they will go next year!

The clients left today for their annual summer trip. This year they are heading to the Bay City Pig Gig!! It was sad to see them go, it sure is an empty house without them! But we know they will have a great time and make many memories. Everyone will be back on Friday. And don't forget, the Summerfest at County View is this Saturday! Busy, busy, BUSY!!
