We painted birdhouses for our gardens in Arts & Crafts today. Every year we paint new ones for our gardens, check them out next time you stop by!

Homemade air fresheners!

Today in Arts & Crafts we made homemade cinnamon applesauce air fresheners. The residents rooms are going to smell apple cinnamony fresh! Look for the recipe in the upcoming Country View Newsletter!

Happy 50th!

Yesterday was Sue the Medical Manager's 50th birthday! We celebrated it today by surprising her with a decorated office, with lots of black of course!

Easter egg hunt!

We had an Easter egg hunt in the activity room on Easter. The residents went by groups and searched for their eggs. They were pleased to find candy in some eggs and money in other eggs! We even had bonus eggs for an extra treat. Everyone had a great time - We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!

Spring is almost here!!

Today was a beautiful day so we all decided to go out to visit and feed the fish in the pond - and soak up the sun! Spring is in the air!

Mexican Fiesta!

Today we decided to have a Mexican fiesta! Trina decided to cook up a delicious Mexican lunch to surprise the clients because Mexican is one of their favorite dishes! It was SO delicious!

Caribbean Party 2010!!

On March 5th, we had our annual Caribbean Luau at Country View. Pat Cronley's Music Services group provided beautiful dinner music and an exciting performance after dinner that had everyone clapping and singing. There was a pirate theme this year along with the palm trees, lights and there was even a gorilla at the party! Everyone enjoyed delicious food, lemonade and desserts! The kids had a lot of fun on a Treasure Hunt where they had to find the treasures on their maps and there was even a real pirate who joined us! A very special than you to Curtis, Camille, Trina, Julian and everyone else that helped make this party a success! We hope to see everyone next year for more Caribbean fun! ~Holly & Carol
