Spring is almost here!!

Today was a beautiful day so we all decided to go out to visit and feed the fish in the pond - and soak up the sun! Spring is in the air!

Mexican Fiesta!

Today we decided to have a Mexican fiesta! Trina decided to cook up a delicious Mexican lunch to surprise the clients because Mexican is one of their favorite dishes! It was SO delicious!

Caribbean Party 2010!!

On March 5th, we had our annual Caribbean Luau at Country View. Pat Cronley's Music Services group provided beautiful dinner music and an exciting performance after dinner that had everyone clapping and singing. There was a pirate theme this year along with the palm trees, lights and there was even a gorilla at the party! Everyone enjoyed delicious food, lemonade and desserts! The kids had a lot of fun on a Treasure Hunt where they had to find the treasures on their maps and there was even a real pirate who joined us! A very special than you to Curtis, Camille, Trina, Julian and everyone else that helped make this party a success! We hope to see everyone next year for more Caribbean fun! ~Holly & Carol

Christmas Party 2009!

Another great Christmas party!

Thanks to all the family and friends that came out to celebrate with us! Everyone looked great dressed up in their Christmas gear, we had a wonderful time singing along to Christmas songs preformed by Kevin Spencer! The food was outstanding - catered by Elegant Catering in Swartz Creek. Happy Holidays from all of us at Country View!

Cookies in a jar!

As a craft last week, we made Mason jars filled with ingredients to make chocolate chip cookies. We made them as gifts for the families that were coming out to the Christmas party on Friday! They were a hit. Just add all the dry ingredients to the jar and the only thing they have to add is the egg, vanilla and butter!

Today we had Christmas photo day! Everyone got all decked out in their holiday gear and smiled for the camera! The photos will be sent out to families and put in an ornament - lookin' good everyone!!

Halloween Party 2009!

Mad scientists and Thriller dance! That was the theme for this year's Country View Halloween party! The activity room was transformed into a mad scientist laboratory - which included Egor, a Mad Scientist, beakers with glow sticks, eyes in a jar and much more! The hosts for the evening were Holly Hall and Camille Coleman who transformed into Dr. Hallstein and Dr. Colestein for the evening! We had a pumpkin contest and a costume contest, everyone looked great! We also had surprise entertainment, zombies preformed the Thriller dance by Micheal Jackson! It was preformed by the girls from Deloris's School of Dance in Flushing, they did a great job! The zombies were sitting around the room and when Thriller played they crawled their way to the dance floor and surprised everyone! Who knows what surprises we'll have next year!

Today turned out to be a really nice day so we decided to all go the orchard and take a hayride! We got cider, donutes and pumpkins too! It was a nice way to celebrate fall...

This year on Boss's Day we took the time to appreciate our Boss's - Damon, Carol & Trina! They do so much for all of us throughout the year and make Country View the best it can be! We thanked them with a homemade lunch and gift baskets from the staff! Thanks for being the best!
