What's a good idea to do when it's winter outside?? Go bowling!! Today we went bowling and we had a great time! There was even a few strikes!

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day from all of us! The residents had a party tonight and got to open their Valentine bags and boxes. They also made cupcakes and decorated them with cherry frosting! They really enjoyed reading all the cards from everyone!

Homemade Earrings!

Today was the first day of snow we've had in a while but it worked out perfect because we were making snow flake earrings today for the ladies! Here's Sharon modeling them for us!

Today we made our Valentine's boxes to hold the Valentine cards and treats we will be getting up until February 14th! Then we get to open them on Valentine's Day and enjoy our special treats!

Ceramics!

Did you know the residents go to ceramics class every Wednesday? They attend class at Abilities First every Wednesday morning and paint ceramics. Check out the photos below of their work! Like something? Sometimes they have their pieces for sale! Just stop on by Abilities First and do a little shopping!

Today was a snow day so we figured why not make some cozy pillows? It took some time but they turned out great!

Today was Jojuana's surprise baby shower! She is a caregiver here at Country View and is expecting her 7th child! She was very surprised and received a lot of great gifts!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

We would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! It's been busy around here at Country View with Christmas activities! We had the Holiday Walk at the Flint Cultural Center, our annual Christmas Party, Christmas photo day and gift making day, rides to see all the Christmas lights, Christmas Karaoke sing a long and of course shopping, shopping, shopping! Happy Holidays from all of us!

Christmas Party!

We had our annual Country View Christmas party on Friday the 9th. Our theme was Candyland, the activity room looked beautiful! It was so nice to see all the families and friends for Christmas! The food was delicious, it was catered in by Elegant Catering. We had an array of food like roast beef, ham, macaroni and cheese, taco salad, red skinned potatoes and much more! Yum! The Christmas music was provided by Mike Beckman who played the guitar and sang some Christmas songs while everyone sang along. Later on we had a special visit from Santa himself! He even brought gifts! It was a great time, hope to see you next year!
